Recap: Liberty Common Eagles vs. Fort Lupton Bluedevils
If the Liberty Common Eagles were feeling good off their 65-44 takedown of the Valley Vikings on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Liberty Common fell just short of Fort Lupton by a score of 60-57. Fort Lupton found their leader in underclassman Javon Gonzales, who scored 26 points along with six assists and six rebounds. The game was Gonzales' fifth in a row with at least ten points. Shane Callahan was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with five rebounds.
Liberty Common's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Fort Lupton, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
