Soccer Recap: Preston Comes Up Short

Preston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Frankfort Falcons. If Preston were looking for revenge after losing 1-0 to Frankfort when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Preston's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Frankfort, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-0-2 record this season.

Preston has already played their next contest, an 8-1 defeat against East Fairmont on the 16th. As for Frankfort, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, an 11-1 win against Petersburg on the 15th.
