Baseball Game Preview: Maypearl Panthers vs. Palmer Bulldogs

For the second straight game, Maypearl will face off against Palmer. The Panthers will be playing at home against the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Maypearl's pitching crew has only allowed 1.8 runs per game this season, so Palmer's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

On Tuesday, Maypearl made easy work of Palmer and carried off an 11-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won 11 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

For Palmer's part, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landon Munoz, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Maypearl's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-4. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Palmer, their loss dropped their record down to 4-13-1.
