Baseball Game Preview: Warren Warriors vs. Reagan Rattlers

The Warren Warriors will head out on the road to square off against the Reagan Rattlers at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Warren 3.5, Reagan 2.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Warren will bounce into Thursday's contest after beating Brennan, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Warriors' pitchers stepped up to hand the Bears a 3-0 shutout on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

Meanwhile, Reagan waltzed into their game on Saturday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 5-4 W against the Wildcats. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Reagan's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-7-2. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.25 runs across that stretch. As for Warren, their win bumped their record up to 15-9.
