Northeastern had already won 12 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.8 points) and they went ahead and made it 13 on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Hertford County Bears 77-25. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 21 points or more this season.

Northeastern's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tyell Saunders, who posted 12 points in addition to seven steals and five assists. Another player making a difference was Jakeel Stallings, who scored 15 points and four steals.

Northeastern pushed their record up to 21-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Hertford County, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-14.
