Volleyball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Starr's Mill + How To Watch

Starr's Mill entered their tilt with Griffin on Wednesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Bears by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

Starr's Mill had a senior duo take command as Sophia Olson had five aces and one assist and Ember Ness had 11 aces and one assist. Those 11 aces set a new season-high mark for Ness.

Starr's Mill was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 18 aces. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their ace total in four consecutive contests.

Starr's Mill's victory bumped their record up to 26-12. As for Griffin, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-22 record this season.

Starr's Mill didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Northside on the 8th. Griffin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
