Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Gospel Light Christian). They strolled past the Christian Ministries Academy Conquerors with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 78-63. This was a revenge game for the Lions: when they faced off against the Conquerors back in December of 2024, they had to take a 72-40 loss.

Despite the loss, Christian Ministries Academy still got an impressive performance from Gavin Hicks, who dropped a double-double on 34 points and 13 boards. Hicks is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last 25 games he's played dating back to last season. Cade Elledge was another key player, putting up 14 points and seven rebounds.

Gospel Light Christian is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-12 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.5 points over those games. As for Christian Ministries Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-6.

As of now, neither Gospel Light Christian nor Christian Ministries Academy have any future games scheduled.
