Soccer Game Preview: Georgetown vs. Waccamaw

Georgetown is 0-10 against Waccamaw since March of 2019 but things could change on Tuesday. The Georgetown Bulldogs will square off against the Waccamaw Warriors at 7:30 p.m. Georgetown will be strutting in after a victory while Waccamaw will be coming in after a loss.

Georgetown took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 6-0 margin over Marlboro County. The game marked Georgetown's most dominant win of the season so far.

Meanwhile, Waccamaw unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Saturday. They lost 7-1 to Lucy Beckham. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Warriors were already down 5-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Charlie Withington, who's now up to 11 this season.

Waccamaw's defeat dropped their record down to 8-2. As for Georgetown, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.
