Last Monday, things could have been worse for Faith Christian Academy, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 46-30 loss to Kingsway Christian. Faith Christian Academy has not had much luck with Kingsway Christian recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Gilead Christian suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They took a serious blow against Shekinah Christian, falling 68-31. It was the first time this season that Gilead Christian let down their fans at home.
Despite the defeat, Gilead Christian had strong showings from Denim Myers, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds and three blocks, and Diesel Myers, who scored eight points along with two steals. Myers is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last nine games he's played.
Faith Christian Academy's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Gilead Christian, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-4.
Faith Christian Academy came up short against Gilead Christian in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, falling 51-38. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Gilead Christian's Talan Blankenship, who scored 20 points along with two steals.
