Basketball Recap: Caney Skates Past Coleman with Ease

Caney posted their biggest victory since November 12, 2024 on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 60-33 win over the Coleman Wildcats. The Cougars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.

Caney's victory bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Coleman, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Caney Cougars take on the Stringtown Tigers at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Caney is facing Stringtown at the right time seeing as Stringtown is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Coleman, they will take on Boswell at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Boswell knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine contests -- so hopefully Coleman likes a good challenge.
