Soccer Game Preview: Pine Ridge vs. Trinity Catholic

The Pine Ridge Panthers will challenge the Trinity Catholic Celtics at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

On Tuesday, neither Pine Ridge nor DeLand could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 3-3 draw.

Ayden Burnett and Tailor Schreiber scored all three of Pine Ridge's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three games, Trinity Catholic finally came back down to earth on Monday. They lost 6-0 to P.K. Yonge. The matchup was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for the Celtics it sure didn't stay that way.

Pine Ridge's draw gives them a new season record of 8-8-2. As for Trinity Catholic, they moved to 7-6-3 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
