Football Preview: Hamilton Aggies vs. Fayette County Tigers        
        
		
            
The Hamilton Aggies are taking a road trip to  square off against the Fayette County Tigers  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Hamilton will come into the  matchup with an undefeated record on the line.
Hamilton barely beat Haleyville the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Aggies breezed past the Lions to the tune of  56-14 on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Aggies, who have now won seven contests by 21  points or more  so far this season.
 It was another big night for  Mason Holloway, who threw for 242 yards and four  touchdowns on only ten passes. The team also got some help courtesy of  Eli Harris, who rushed for 77 yards and a pair of  TDs on only five carries.
Meanwhile, Fayette County suffered their closest  loss since September 6, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of Good Hope by a score of  24-22. The Tigers were right on the edge of victory: they outscored the Raiders in the fourth quarter  8-0.
 Hamilton will have to contain  Maurice Harris as he made an impact in Fayette County's last game. He rushed for 74 yards and one  score.
 Fayette County's  defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 6-3. As for Hamilton, their victory bumped their record up to 9-0.
Friday's   game might be decided on the ground. Hamilton has been unstoppable on the ground this season,  having  averaged 226.7  rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Fayette County struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 161.2  rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's   matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.
 Hamilton strolled past Fayette County when the teams last played  back in October of 2024 by a score of  41-26. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Aggies since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
