Kennett and Merrimack Valley are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2016, but likely not for long. The Eagles will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against the Pride at 4:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Kennett fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Laconia on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Sachems by a score of 6-5. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Merrimack Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 7-2 to Pelham.

Merrimack Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Kennett, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Kennett was able to grind out a solid victory over Merrimack Valley when the teams last played back in May of 2024, winning 5-1. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Pride have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
