Danbury posted their closest victory since March 25th on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Northwood Rangers, sneaking past 10-8. The win was familiar territory for the Lakers, who have now won three contests in a row.

Danbury's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Northwood, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-4.

Coming up, Danbury will head out to challenge Gibsonburg at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Golden Bears will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Lakers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Northwood, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Woodmore at 12:00 p.m.
