Basketball Game Preview: Diller-Odell Griffin vs. Exeter-Milligan/Friend Bobcats

Two dominant forwards in Cooper Morgan and Grady Bresson are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Diller-Odell Griffin will welcome the Exeter-Milligan/Friend Bobcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, it was close, but Diller-Odell sidestepped Falls City for a 54-52 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Griffin.

Meanwhile, Exeter-Milligan/Friend strolled past McCool Junction with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 68-49.

Exeter-Milligan/Friend pushed their record up to 19-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.8 points over those games. As for Diller-Odell, their victory bumped their record up to 11-9.

Things could have been worse for Diller-Odell, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 51-35 loss to Exeter-Milligan/Friend in their previous meeting back in February of 2024.
