Football Recap: East Haven Takes a Loss

East Haven fell victim to East Lyme and their airtight defense on Friday. They were beaten by the Vikings 38-0. The Yellowjackets just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row dating back to last season.

East Lyme's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Logan Baird, who rushed for 52 yards and a pair of TDs. Baird also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making two total tackles. East Lyme also got help from Jayden Brown, who showed off his sure hands for 98 receiving yards.

East Haven's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for East Lyme, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Haven will host Lyman Hall at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for East Lyme, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Fitch on Friday.
