Football Recap: Wilson Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Wilson was the 36-22 winner over Rowland when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats were dealt a 41-10 defeat at the hands of the Raiders on Friday.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Bryce Johnson and CJ Carrillo. Johnson rushed for 129 yards and a pair of TDs on only ten carries while Carrillo rushed for 143 yards and one score on only six carries. Carrillo didn't just play on offense: he also forced one fumble and made six total tackles in addition to snagging an interception which he returned one-yard for a touchdown.

Wilson's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Wilson will square off against Bell Gardens at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Rowland, they will challenge Valencia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
