Basketball Recap: Prairie du Chien Takes a Loss

Prairie du Chien was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 61-39 to the Barneveld Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Blackhawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 447th, while the Eagles are ranked 217th).

Prairie du Chien's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Barneveld, they pushed their record up to 9-3 with the win, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Prairie du Chien will take on Lancaster at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Barneveld, they will venture away from home to square off against Argyle at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Barneveld's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six matches.
