Baseball Recap: Yorktown Wildcats vs. Port Aransas Marlins

Yorktown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They lost 13-3 to the Port Aransas Marlins. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Marlins this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-0 on April 1st.

Ezekiel Munoz made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Marquis Marin also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Yorktown's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Port Aransas, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.
