Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ragsdale). They came out on top against the Glenn Bobcats by a score of 69-60 on Tuesday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Tigers' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 178th, while the Bobcats are ranked 377th).

Ragsdale found their leader in sophomore Souleymane Sy, who posted 23 points in addition to five boards and five steals. Another player making a difference was AJ Patrick, who shot 60% from the field to rack up 14 points and four steals.

Glenn's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Semaj Galloway, who had ten points and three blocks. Jeremiah Davis-Hall was another key player, going 5-for-10 on his way to 14 points and four steals.

The win (which was Ragsdale's fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2. As for Glenn, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Coming up, Ragsdale will take on Southern Guilford at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Glenn, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 56-52 defeat against Eastern Guilford on the 10th.
