Baseball Recap: Hamilton Find Success

Hamilton's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They never let the California Military Institute Rough Riders get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Bobcats in their matchups with the Rough Riders: they've now won four in a row.

Adam Barreto was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March. He was also solid in the batter's box, earning one RBI, one run, and one stolen base.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Elias Famania, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Joey Alvarez was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one RBI.

Hamilton's victory bumped their record up to 5-12. As for California Military Institute, they are on a 26-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.
