Volleyball Recap: Fredericktown Takes a Loss

Fredericktown lost against Perryville back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Black Cats fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 3-2. The Black Cats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Fredericktown sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 23-25, 25-18, 21-25, 15-12.

Despite the loss, Fredericktown still got an impressive performance from Ava Stephens, who had 11 digs and two aces. Stephens is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 11 every time she's taken the court this season.

Fredericktown's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Perryville, their win bumped their record up to 5-6-1.

Fredericktown didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Arcadia Valley on the 16th. As for Perryville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Windsor on the 16th.
