Softball Recap: Bishop Canevin Comes Up Short

Bishop Canevin blew Northgate out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Monday Northgate got their revenge. Bishop Canevin fell just short of Northgate by a score of 4-2. The Crusaders' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it seven in a row dating back to last season.

Bishop Canevin saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ava Washington, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Bishop Canevin's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Northgate, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Looking ahead, Bishop Canevin will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Springdale at 4:00 p.m. As for Northgate, they will head out on the road to challenge New Brighton at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
