Soccer Recap: East Wake Academy Comes Up Short

East Wake Academy and Research Triangle squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but East Wake Academy had to settle for second. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Raptors who were credited with the victory. The Research Triangle Raptors got it done in the shootout by posting eight goals to the East Wake Academy Eagles' seven. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against Research Triangle this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-1 loss back in October.
