Volleyball Recap: Center Hill Takes a Loss

Center Hill lost against Lake Cormorant on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Mustangs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lake Cormorant.

Lake Cormorant can attribute much of their success to Emily Huerta, who had nine digs and one assist.

Center Hill's loss dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Lake Cormorant, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-8 record this season.

Center Hill and Lake Cormorant should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Mississippi Rankings. The Mustangs will challenge South Panola at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (44 vs. 176). Meanwhile, Lake Cormorant (ranked 12th) will meet Horn Lake (ranked 123rd) at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
