Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Ella Lyon and Bella Landis Lead Midway to Victory

The Midway Vikings made easy work of the Ballard Bulldogs on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vikings.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-19, 25-11.

Midway was led to victory by Bella Landis and Ella Lyon. Landis had nine digs and two aces, while Lyon had three digs and three aces. That's the most aces Lyon has posted over her last 14 matches.

They weren't the only good servers: Midway was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ballard only served one.

Midway now has a winning record of 14-13-3. As for Ballard, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-16-2.

As of now, neither Midway nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
