Basketball Game Preview: Gerstell Academy vs. Concordia Prep Saints

Gerstell Academy will face off against the Concordia Prep Saints at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Concordia Prep took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Gerstell Academy, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Gerstell Academy turned things around against St. John's Catholic Prep on Monday. In a tight match that could have gone either way, they made off with a 52-51 victory over the Vikings.

Meanwhile, Concordia Prep didn't have quite enough to beat St. Paul's on Wednesday and fell 49-46. The Saints have struggled against the Crusaders recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Gerstell Academy's win bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Concordia Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-11.

Gerstell Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over Concordia Prep in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, winning 63-54. Does Gerstell Academy have another victory up their sleeve, or will Concordia Prep turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
