Softball Recap: Tri-Central Comes Up Short

After soaring to 11 runs the game before, Tri-Central was a bit more limited in their game on Monday. They came up short against the Madison-Grant Argylls, falling 20-1. The Trojans were not able to make up for their loss to the Argylls from their previous meeting back in April of 2021.

Tri-Central's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Madison-Grant, they pushed their record up to 6-2 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

Tri-Central and Madison-Grant will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Trojans will face off against rival Carroll at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Madison-Grant is set to take on their familiar foe Eastbrook at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
