Pine Lake Prep is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Christ the King on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Meanwhile, after soaring to 43 points the game before, Lincoln Charter was a bit more limited in their matchup last Friday. They were dealt a 49-7 loss at the hands of Community School of Davidson. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 318th, while the Spartans are ranked 156th).

Pine Lake Prep will have to contain Jeremiah Benton as he made an impact in Lincoln Charter's last game. He rushed for 64 yards and one TD on only eight carries.
