Basketball Game Preview: Pekin Dragons vs. Galesburg Silver Streaks

The Pekin Dragons will be playing at home against the Galesburg Silver Streaks at 2:30 p.m. Galesburg took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Pekin, who comes in off a win.

Pekin's tournament run continued when they took on Lake Central on Saturday. Pekin strolled past Lake Central with points to spare, taking the game 52-36.

Meanwhile, after a string of 13 wins, Galesburg's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 51-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of Teutopolis. The game marked the Silver Streaks' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

The win got Pekin back to even at 7-7. As for Galesburg, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-2.
