Volleyball Game Preview: Bremen Braves vs. Chicago University Maroons

The Bremen Braves are taking a road trip to take on the Chicago University Maroons at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Thursday, Bremen came up short against Chicago Washington and fell 2-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Chicago University didn't have quite enough to beat Andrew on Wednesday and fell 2-1. While the Maroons didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Thunderbolts 25-20 in the first set.

Chicago University started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-15, 25-17.

Bremen has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 18 of their last 20 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-24 record this season. As for Chicago University, their loss dropped their record down to 15-13.

Bremen couldn't quite get it done against Chicago University in their previous meeting back in September of 2023 as they fell 2-0. Can the Braves avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
