Soccer Recap: Hilton Head Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Hilton Head Christian Academy lost against Pinewood Prep back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eagles lost 9-0 to the Panthers. While losing is never fun, Hilton Head Christian Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 74th, while Pinewood Prep are ranked 20th).

Hilton Head Christian Academy has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season. As for Pinewood Prep, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 14-3-1.

Hilton Head Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 4-0 win against Palmetto Christian Academy on the 23rd. As for Pinewood Prep, they have also already played their next game, a 9-0 victory against First Baptist School on the 24th.
