Volleyball Recap: Seaforth Starts off Right with Win over Apex Friendship

Seaforth had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Apex Friendship Patriots. For the Hawks, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 victory the Patriots walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2024.

Seaforth was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-12, 21-25, 25-18, 25-19.

Ally Forbes paced Seaforth's offense, picking up 13 kills. Forbes got some help from Abigail Valgus and her 17 assists. Forbes was also solid from the service line: she led the team with nine aces.

Seaforth will welcome Northwood at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Apex Friendship, they are taking a road trip to face off against Middle Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
