Volleyball Recap: The Palmdale Aerospace Academy Picks Up Sixth Straight Win on the Road

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Vasquez, The Palmdale Aerospace Academy was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Trinity Classical Academy Knights. This was a revenge game for the Griffins: when they faced off against the Knights on March 11th, they had to take a 3-0 loss.

The Palmdale Aerospace Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 24-26, 25-18, 25-22, 25-23.

Several Knights players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Thomas Paz, who had 21 digs. Another player making a difference was Aidan Choi, who had 14 assists and eight digs.

The Palmdale Aerospace Academy's victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-5. As for Trinity Classical Academy, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-3.

Coincidentally, The Palmdale Aerospace Academy and Trinity Classical Academy will both be playing Desert Christian the next time they take the court. The Knights will host the Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Griffins will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
