Softball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Peru

Peru entered their tilt with Northern Adirondack on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 22-7 margin over the Bobcats. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Nighthawks also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Peru pushed their record up to 3-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 22.0 runs over those games. As for Northern Adirondack, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Peru is set to take on their familiar foe Northeastern Clinton at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Northern Adirondack will face off against rival Beekmantown at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
