Recap: University Trojans vs. Northwood Timberwolves
The University Trojans pushed their score all the way to 77 on Monday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They had to suffer through a rough 113-77 loss at the hands of Northwood. University has not had much luck with Northwood recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Despite the loss, University still got an impressive performance from Andrew Bogard, who scored 19 points along with five assists. The match was Bogard's ninth in a row with at least ten points. Isaac Evans was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with five assists.
University's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Northwood, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-5.
University will head out on the road to face off against Irvine at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Irvine and University are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. As for Northwood, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Woodbridge at 7:00 p.m.
