Germantown Christian took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They put the hurt on East Dayton Christian with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Cardinals in their matchups with East Dayton Christian: they've now won four in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-9, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Royalmont Academy Classical Prep came up short against East Dayton Christian on Thursday, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-16, 25-16.

Royalmont Academy Classical Prep's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Germantown Christian, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Everything went Germantown Christian's way against Royalmont Academy Classical Prep in their previous meeting back in August of 2024, as Germantown Christian made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cardinals since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
