Basketball Recap: Jefferson-Morgan Falls Short of Springdale in the Playoffs

Jefferson-Morgan and Springdale squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Jefferson-Morgan had to settle for second. They took a 42-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Springdale Dynamos. The Rockets haven't had much luck with the Dynamos recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

When it comes to explaining why Jefferson-Morgan lost, don't look at Jeremiah Robertson. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double with 11 points and 13 boards. Another player making a difference was Dayten Marion, who posted seven points and six rebounds.

Jefferson-Morgan's loss dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Springdale, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Jefferson-Morgan nor Springdale have any future games scheduled.
