Volleyball Recap: Oakwood Beats Milton-Union for Their Fourth Straight Win

Oakwood entered their tilt with Milton-Union on Monday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 3-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lumberjacks also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Oakwood had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-15, 25-15, 25-14.

Oakwood can attribute much of their success to Adelyn Hudson, who had seven digs and three aces.

Hudson wasn't the only good server: Oakwood was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Oakwood's record is now 4-1. As for Milton-Union, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Oakwood wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Eaton on the 26th. As for Milton-Union, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Lehman Catholic on the 26th.
