Softball Recap: Norcom Comes Up Short

After flying high against Lake Taylor last Friday, Norcom came back down to earth. Norcom lost 26-2 to the Phoebus Phantoms on Monday. If the Greyhounds were looking for revenge after losing 31-6 to the Phantoms when the teams met back in May of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Norcom's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Phoebus, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Looking ahead, Norcom will venture away from home to take on Booker T. Washington at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Norcom is facing Booker T. Washington at the right time seeing as Booker T. Washington is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Phoebus, they will be playing at home against Heritage at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
