Basketball Recap: West Union Takes a Loss

West Union was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 57-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vardaman Rams. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rams apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

West Union's loss dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Vardaman, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-9.

West Union didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 70-25 defeat against Pine Grove on the 18th. Vardaman has also already played their next contest (against Water Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
