After a string of eight wins, Eastern Alamance's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Person Rockets by a score of 7-6. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 9-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Eastern Alamance saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Westbrooks, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Eastern Alamance's loss dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Person, their victory bumped their record up to 12-5.

While Eastern Alamance had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
