Basketball Recap: Burlington Comes Up Short

Burlington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 58-49 to the Westosha Central Falcons. The Demons were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Falcons earlier this season, when they won 73-66.

Burlington's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Westosha Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

Coming up, Burlington will head out on the road to square off against Badger at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Westosha Central, they have already played their next contest, an 84-63 loss against Pewaukee on the 15th.
