Jonathan Rosette was a major factor in Port of Los Angeles's victory over Verbum Dei Jesuit on Saturday. Rosette turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Port of Los Angeles is 4-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 0-3 otherwise.

Coming up, Rosette and Port of Los Angeles will square off against Harbor Teacher at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
