Alta Loma proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the South Hills Huskies. This was payback for the Braves, who suffered a 3-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

Alta Loma was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-18, 18-25, 25-15, 16-14.

Alta Loma is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. As for South Hills, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Alta Loma is set to square off against their familiar foe San Dimas at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, South Hills will face off against rival Los Altos at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
