Doherty Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to Alyssa Ramos

Alyssa Ramos was instrumental in extending Doherty's winning streak to seven on Thursday. Ramos did her part (and then some), rushing for 65 yards and two touchdowns for the 'W'.

Doherty pushed their record up to 11-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Ramos and Doherty will challenge Douglas County at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.

This is the second loss in a row for Elizabeth and nudges their season record down to 8-6. Nelson and Elizabeth are on the road again on Thursday to play Vista Ridge at 5:30 p.m.
