Basketball Recap: Hanson Memorial Takes a Loss

Hanson Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 49-16 to the Covenant Christian Academy Lions, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Lions this season, with their most recent loss being a 49-16 defeat last Wednesday.

Hanson Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 7-21. As for Covenant Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-10 record this season.

Hanson Memorial has already played their next match (against Centerville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Covenant Christian Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 65-26 victory against Jeanerette on the 14th.
