Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Salem). They took their game on Tuesday with ease, bagging an 82-27 win over the Sprague Olympians. Given the Titans' advantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 48th, while the Olympians are ranked 127th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

West Salem is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a massive bump to their 12-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.3 points over those games. As for Sprague, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Salem will welcome Tualatin at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Tualatin's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last nine contests. As for Sprague, they will be playing in front of their home fans against McNary at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Sprague is facing McNary at the right time seeing as McNary is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
