Strathmore was sadly handed a loss on Friday, but Isaiah Colunga did his best to prevent it. Colunga was dynamite, rushing for 47 yards and a touchdown, while also throwing for 165 yards on seven of 19 attempts.
Strathmore moved to 5-2 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. Colunga and Strathmore will take on Granite Hills at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.

Jose Cortes Makes It Two for Lindsay
Another Lindsay player making an appearance on this list is Jose Cortes. He rushed for 136 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.0 yards per carry.
Farmersville's probably not too fond of Cortes given he always seems to get the better of them. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Cortes saw the Aztecs), he rushed for 107 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries.
