De La Salle put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Ursuline Academy Lions a 7-0 shutout. The win continues a trend for the Cavalier in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won six in a row.

De La Salle's record now sits at 4-5. As for Ursuline Academy, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. De La Salle will host Landry at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Ursuline Academy, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against South Plaquemines at 4:00 p.m. The Lions' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hurricanes have averaged an impressive 14.2 runs per game this season.
